Why cats should not be abolished in NZ
So apparently some people think we should ban cats from nz.... absolutely not! I say cats are great in every single way. Why would people be wondering this it's it's just wrong! Cats do so much good for us. People without cats probably don’t know these things. Heres some pros for my argument.
They make people happy and can always cheer you up. Some people cant imagine living without this.
- They kill rodents like rats and mice.
- They are nice to us humans and they help us get through a rough day if we've had one. (same as dogs) They comfort us when we need it aswell.
They're even cheap pets.
There cute, kind and caring like seriously people love these creatures and they want to take them away. I think that this is unnecessary and it shouldn’t be even considered. but of course you people who do want to get rid of them have cons with cats.
They carry fleas. (but you can wash them out pretty easily)
They kill birds yes birds are innocent and they don’t deserve to be killed. But neither do the cats they don’t deserve to be lost forever there just doing what nature tells them to do it's the circle of life.Also wild cats kill more so leaving cats with no home in the wild (where you think they belong) they actually will kill more birds.
So yeah those are the big ones I can think of, But seriously they're worth it they don't cost much and the two cons really aren’t as bad as you may think. Ok now onto my opinion on this situation.
Cats are amazing creatures and they should not be abolished. Why do u guys want this? Why do you guys want cats gone from nz forever? Cause birds die and they carry fleas. ok but is it really that bad? Cats kill birds but to be honest birds are less vauluable. Cause if you take the cats away people might even kill themselves from sadness. This has actually happened lots, Suicide over animal death is pretty common immagine how that would increase if all cats were gone and everyone would want a cat but couldnt get one it's ludicrous, And this should not be happening really…
Im sorry for all you cat lovers that this post was brought up, But I had to say that it's not right and show my opinion thanks for reading and bye!
Nz election 2020
In NZ this year we had our election, in the end we had a valiant fight (not) but the winning party won with 49.1% of the votes and a very far second with 26.8% of the votes the winning party was (I don't know why I didn't say cause you probably already know) Labour and second was National third Act and fourth green and fifth maori party those were the top 5 parties anyway
Now I shall right down some MPs that won
Michael wood mt Roskill from labour
Chloe Swarbrick Auk central from green party
Todd mclay Rotorua from national
Simon bridges Tauranga from national
Stuart Nash Napier from labour
Those were some important places to me and I'm quite happy with the results maybe a bit less blue but it's fine
Next up what I have to talk about has not actually happened yet Im going to talk about the referendums legalising cannabis and the end of life referendums I think that both should pass because the end of life referendum ok heres the thing I didnt read it properly the first time I thought it was any adult could just stroll and go hey… death but no it's only people with terminal illnesses (there certain to die) so if there gonna suffer why not just let them go out more peacefully and for the cannabis referendum I think it should be legalised because it can stop other addiction and it's scientifically proven that it's very hard to get addicted to cannabis and also it does very good things and the bad only happen if you smoke it so much so overall I think both referendums should pass

Why students should be given chromebooks at school and why it's beneficial
For most people school is boring. I disagree school is fun but it's even better when you're on a chromebook. chromebook schools are just as beneficial as a normal school if not more and here's my reasons why…
The pros and cons of having a chromebook for school:
Pros:
kids will learn to use technology which can be used in the future,kids will also most likely need this skill in their job or life itself
If kids don’t understand something instead of having to ask the teacher they can look at themselves which will also teach them problem solving skills.
It's more fun! Yes I know that school isn't about having fun and it's about learning but kids will enjoy it much more if it's online and even though even some studies show kids who have gone to an online school enjoyed it more than ones who didn’t.
con:
kids can get distracted with the internet VERY EASILY!! So you should monitor and see if they’re doing school work if they’re relatively young or if they are irresponsible.
Kids think if they’re on the internet they don’t have to do work when that's not the case. The longer the students do chromebook learning the more they’ll get better at avoiding this.
So overall there's more pros than cons. These are some of the reasons why I think chromebook schools is beneficial but I have more reasons…
Kids should learn to research stuff themself so they learn problem solving skills as well as not bothering other people to know the answer to a question. Because say for instance Harry needs to know the cause of WW1 rather than asking an adult or teacher they can simply look it up themself. It's a very useful skill that people use in their everyday life and could be crucial to a child's question sometimes even adults don’t know the answer.
thirdly it's just more fun in general children at school with chromebooks will have a much better time. I’ve already said this but the children's enjoyment is definitely important otherwise they will hate school if it's boring also it's easier for children to learn to type at an early age in life and also will end up being easier than pen and paper!
So in the end I think that every school should give out chromebooks they help kids and their future hope you enjoyed this piece of writing and that you see why you should get a chromebook or a device for school and bye!
